Caught in Corsage

Caught in Corsage

I collaborated for a very short photo shoot with my friend Casey Crockford from the Australian National University. We wanted to create an image using the flower mask I used in my performance. The image is meant to express the feeling of being trapped in a theme; this theme was flowers. This work is actually part of a small photo series Casey is creating. I’m really happy with this image, it captured a surreal but also fashionable aesthetic. The mask is from ‘Japan: Performance piece’. I should be posting the full costume soon and updating on new work and hopefully an installation exhibit within Kyoto Seika University.
